This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to support Solicitors within a specialist team handling complex and sensitive disputes. The role combines legal support duties with administrative responsibilities and would suit someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in contentious private client work.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting Solicitors with case management across contentious probate, trusts, and inheritance disputes Preparing bundles, legal documents, correspondence, and court forms under supervision Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries Diary management, including arranging meetings, conferences, and client appointments Assisting with file opening, billing, invoice processing, and time recording Ensuring efficient workflow and supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
We are looking for someone who
Demonstrates strong communication skills and a client-focused approach A proven track record of providing high-quality administration support within a legal/professional services environment (desired) Has excellent written skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Shows initiative, proactivity, and a willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail and able to manage competing priorities and work with tight timelines Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
