Privacy policy
Privacy is something we design for, not bolt on. We collect as little information as a job board needs, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete anything we hold about you.

Our approach
paralegaljob.co.uk is built so that you can browse and find roles without creating an account, uploading a CV, or handing over personal details. Most people use the entire site without giving us anything that identifies them. This policy explains what we do collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
paralegaljob.co.uk (“we”, “us”) is an independent UK job board for paralegals. We are not a law firm, recruitment agency, or regulated legal-services provider. For any privacy question, contact hello@paralegaljob.co.uk.
Information we collect
- Apply activity.When you click an “Apply” button, we record the time, the listing it related to, and the general country the request came from. This tells us which roles are useful so we can improve the index. We do not store your IP address or anything that identifies you personally.
- Usage analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics provider to understand how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are popular, roughly where visitors are based, and what kind of device they use. This helps us decide what to build next.
- Technical records. Like any website, our systems keep short-lived technical records to keep the site secure, running, and free of abuse.
What we never collect
- Names, email addresses, CVs, or other candidate-identifiable data
- Advertising or cross-site tracking profiles
- Anything we sell, rent, or trade to third parties
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics may use limited first-party cookies or similar local storage to measure site usage. You can clear or block these in your browser at any time without losing access to any part of the site.
How we use information
We use the limited information above only to operate, secure, and improve the site, and to understand which listings and guides are helpful. We do not use it to build profiles of individuals or to target advertising.
Where job content comes from
Listings are gathered from law firm careers pages and the hiring systems they publish through. We crawl responsibly, respect the rules each site sets for automated access, and identify ourselves with a public contact address. If you operate a careers page and would prefer we did not include it, email hello@paralegaljob.co.uk and we will remove it.
Where your information is held
Information is held with reputable infrastructure providers located in the United Kingdom or the European Union, and is retained only for as long as it is useful for the purposes described here.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only so they can perform that work on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. Because we deliberately collect almost nothing that identifies you, there is usually very little to act on, but you can make a request at any time by emailing hello@paralegaljob.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
