The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a job board, we don’t sell your data, and you can email us to delete anything we hold.

Who we are
paralegaljob.co.uk (“we”, “us”) is an independent UK job board for paralegals. We are not a law firm or a regulated legal-services provider.
What we collect
- Apply-click logs. When you click an “Apply” button, we record a timestamp, the job ID, the country your request came from (derived from the request header), and a one-way hash of your browser’s user-agent. We do not store IP addresses or identifiable personal data.
- Aggregate analytics.Once we install analytics (Plausible), we’ll record page views and referrers in aggregate. No cookies. No personal data.
- Server logs. Standard hosting logs (held by Vercel and Supabase) for security and debugging, retained per their policies.
What we do not collect
- Names, email addresses, CVs, or any candidate-identifiable data
- Cookies for tracking or advertising purposes
- Behavioural data we sell or share with third parties
Where job content comes from
Job listings are scraped from law firm careers pages and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, Ashby). We respect robots.txt, rate-limit our requests, and identify our crawler with a public contact address. If you operate a careers page and would like us to stop scraping it, email hello@paralegaljob.co.uk.
Where the data is stored
Listings and apply-click logs are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (EU region). The site is served by Vercel.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
Because we collect almost no personal data, there’s very little for you to access, correct, or erase. Where we hold something identifiable about you (extremely rare), you can request access or deletion by emailing hello@paralegaljob.co.uk.
