We are looking for a Paralegal to join our busy Property Litigation team to focus on our Social Housing practice. The Property Litigation Team has over 20 legal advisors and is significant team within the firm. Our contentious Social Housing practice is an important part of the Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in social housing to gain high-quality experience within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Working closely with experienced solicitors and partners, you will play a key role in supporting the team on a broad range of social housing disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting legal advisors on a variety of social housing matters, including possession claims, claims of housing disrepair and occupier behaviour Legal research and drafting correspondence and documents Preparing court bundles and assisting with case management Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and other professionals Managing your own administrative tasks efficiently and accurately Supporting the team to deliver a high standard of client care
We are keen to hear from candidates who
Have experience working as a Paralegal, ideally within litigation or property (although this is not essential) Have a strong interest in property litigation Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Are well organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines Enjoy working as part of a team and contributing positively to a collaborative environment
