About the role
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our highly regarded Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss (CILL) team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside leading lawyers on complex, high-value personal injury claims arising from serious incidents. You will support the delivery of exceptional client service on a varied caseload involving catastrophic injuries, including brain and spinal injury matters, working closely with insurers, corporate clients, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners on complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims
- Managing your own caseload of lower-value matters, where appropriate
- Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and court forms
- Reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies and summaries
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, and other stakeholders
- Supporting case strategy and trial preparation
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and service standards
About You
- Previous experience as a Paralegal within defendant personal injury, ideally with exposure to catastrophic injury or large loss claims
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach and a genuine interest in complex injury work
