About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Complex Injury Claims Team, working closely with Partner, Steven Warburton on a diverse and high-value caseload. This role is ideal for a motivated paralegal looking to deepen their experience in complex, large-loss claims within a supportive and collaborative environment.You’ll gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of cases, including personal injury, employer’s liability (EL), public liability (PL), and product liability claims – some of which involve international elements. If you're keen to take the next step in your legal career and build expertise in high-value litigation, we’d love to hear from you.Working PatternFull-time, 35 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pmHybrid working: 1 day in the office, remainder remoteResponsibilitiesAs part of Steven’s team, you’ll play a key role in progressing claims from start to finish. Your responsibilities will grow as you develop, and may include:Preparing, filing, and serving court documents, and managing key deadlinesLiaising with experts and counsel to coordinate conferences, JSMs, and hearingsCommunicating with clients, insureds, and witnesses, including arranging attendance at hearings and drafting witness summonsSupporting court processes, including applications and consent ordersManaging CRU registrations and updatesMaintaining accurate case records, including expert summaries and payment historiesCoordinating medical appointments and evidence gathering (records, reports, police documents)Reviewing and summarising medical records and other evidenceHandling document redaction in line with legal and GDPR requirementsResponding to queries from stakeholders including insurers, experts, and witnessesAssisting with legal research and general case supportHelping the team deliver excellent client service and meet performance targetsSkillsWe’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to learn. Ideally, you will have:A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 5/A–C or above)A demonstrated interest in law through further study (e.g. LPC, ILEX) or legal experiencePrevious experience or understanding of the litigation process (RTA, EL, or PL preferred)Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholdersThe ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressureExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsA proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering great client serviceReady to Apply?If you’re looking to grow your legal career in a supportive, forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.
